Deacon Ben Remmert and CTK members Kyle and Eleanor Verret will be leading 2 PRAY programs at Christ the King Church this fall from September 14 until November 9.

  • Jesus & Me Program for children in Grades K – 1st: Jesus & Me meetings must include the participant's trusted adult partner (parent, grandparent, guardian) in all meetings. The Jesus & Me curriculum introduces Jesus as the Son of God in familiar terms so that young children can see Jesus in their own day-to-day experiences as a storyteller, teacher, friend, and healer.
  • The God & Church Program for Youth in Grades 6-8: The God & Church program leads youth on a three part faith journey: meeting Jesus, worshiping God, and witnessing and ministering for Christ. Participants will create either a video or a photo album to share what they have learned on their faith journeys. This program is open to all youth (Grades 6-8), but will specifically include Lutheran theology and denominational viewpoints.

These programs are open to all youth (K-1st, 6th-8th grade) regardless of church affiliation. P.R.A.Y. program emblems may be worn on the uniform of youth members of Scouting America, Girl Scouts of America, and American Heritage Girls.

RSVP to Deacon Ben Remmert at benremmert@ctkelc.org by Wednesday, September 3. Cost is $41 which covers participants' books, awards, and pins. For more questions, please feel free to contact Deacon Ben Remmert or Kyle Verret (kyleverret@gmail.com).
