Las Posadas + Waffle Cafe December 17 @ Rice Village Campus

Las Posadas + Waffle Cafe: Sunday, December 17 at 9:30 a.m.

On December 17, during the Sunday Forum hour, all children, youth, and adults are invited to join us with our Sunday School teachers and musicians as we leading an intergenerational Las Posadas beginning in the parish hall and will end in the courtyard!

Las Posadas has over 400 years of celebration commemorate the Census pilgrimage which Mary and Joseph took from Nazareth to Bethlehem. We will gather and re-enact Mary and Joseph’s traveling, being led by a procession of children dressed as Mary, Joseph, angels, and shepherds singing and carrying banners throughout the church campus until we reach our destination. There prayers are said, songs sung, and we end the time with a party.  

 Embrace the spirit of togetherness as we unite for our annual Waffle Cafe fundraiser and share the excitement of breaking open a piñata together!
