Prepare the Way! Festive Tree trimming for the whole community!

Advent is upon us and we are preparing the way for the Lord. Come join us on December 2nd at 3:00 pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Memorial Campus, located at the corner of Memorial and Gessner, across from Frostwood Elementary.  This is a time for community to come together and celebrate the season.

TREE TRIMMING: We are decorating and lighting a grand tree in the ‘front yard’ of the church. Bring your homemade edible ornaments for the birds and squirrels or help make some there to decorate the tree.  We will provide materials for making ornaments for either the tree at the church or one at your own home. A treat will be decorating and making Chrismons (from Christ Monograms). These are symbols of the church that remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.

BRASS BAND: Come sit around the firepit, listen to seasonal brass music and sing carols.  We will have Guatemalan coffee, hot cider and cocoa to add a festive touch.
