Sing for Peace

We are in the midst of an especially fraught and distressing time for our community and country. Events like the murder of Houstonian Lorenzo Salgado Araujo bring a fresh wave of fear, anger, and stress. In the spirit of the gentle revolution of Leipzig, Germany in 1989, we invite everyone to join this community event to feel God’s presence through the power of song. We will be teaching simple yet powerful pieces that will both heal and uplift your soul. No singing or musical experience necessary and all Singing for Peace events are open to everyone, including children. Snacks will be offered at the close of the event.

DATES for Sing For Peace for Fall 2026:

• Saturdays at 4:45 p.m.: Sept. 26, Oct. 24, Nov. 21, Dec. 19
• Sundays (2nd Sunday) at 7 p.m.: Sept. 13, Oct 11, November 8, December 13
• Festival Day of Service - November 21 - 11 a.m. (may change)
