Sunday Forum: February 8, 2026 at 9:45am
Please join the AMMPARO Committee for a learning time focused on faith, immigration, and faithful civic engagement. Andrea Lauver will share her personal story and experience growing up in a family impacted by Temporary Protected Status, how that journey led her into immigration advocacy, and why Christians have a role in seeking solutions that meaningfully impact immigrant and refugee neighbors. The conversation will also explore practical and effective ways people of faith can engage in advocacy that reflects biblical values and leads to real change.
Andrea Lauver is an immigration advocate whose own life and family have been directly shaped by the U.S. Immigration system. She works with the Forum, where she helps to advance practical immigration policy solutions by partnering with faith communities, businesses, national security leaders and law enforcement. Andrea’s work is shaped by her background in pastoring, her theological training, and her family’s lived experience navigating the U.S. immigration system. She is passionate about helping Christians live out their faith by actively loving immigrant and refugee neighbors through both direct service and faithful civic engagement.
