2026 Grant Application

The Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church New Foundation invites applications for regular grants, which may be made solely in support of the life and work of the Congregation and other qualified organizations whose purposes are aligned with the strategic emphases of the Church.  Regular grants generally support special projects and special needs of the Congregation and its mission.  As set forth in the Foundation’s Grant Policies, regular grants may not be made in support of routine operational expenses of the Congregation.  The Foundation expects to have approximately $25,000 available for grants in 2026.

Now Accepting Grant Applications – Deadline April 24, 2026

Christ the King Foundation is pleased to announce a grant application window open through April 24 for charitable organizations and initiatives aligned with our mission. If you or your organization are engaged in meaningful work that could benefit from additional support, we invite you to submit a Grant Application Form (attached download).

This is an opportunity to bring important projects to life with the help of our Foundation’s grantmaking resources. Requests will be reviewed by the Board following the deadline, and funding decisions will be communicated promptly thereafter.

This is a limited-time opportunity to request funding for projects that support the life and work of our congregation in meaningful ways.

The Foundation makes grants from the income of the General Endowment Fund in accordance with its Bylaws. Special and regular grants may support:

  • The acquisition or improvement of real or personal property
  • The purchase of furnishings or equipment
  • The development or expansion of special programs
  • Congregational mission initiatives or community outreach such as programs that reduce hunger and homelessness, assist immigrants, support the sick
  • New program or staff support expected to be sustained by the congregation

Please note: Grants will not be made for regular operational expenses. All requests will be reviewed in good faith by the Board of Directors, whose determinations shall be final. An Application Form is attached and must be completed in full to be considered. Submit completed forms by April 24, 2026 via email to Cheryl Gaspard at ctk@ctkelc.org.
