Marathon on Sunday January 15

The Houston Chevron Marathon will be held Sunday, January 15, beginning at 7:00 a.m. The event results in numerous street closures including University Boulevard. The disruption affects mainly 8:30 a.m. and Sunday Church School participants. More than 22,000 participants, 200,000 spectators and 5,000 volunteers will take to the streets of Houston.

The route from U.S. 59 South going down Greenbriar will be clear.

Our support and prayers will be with all Christ the King Church members and friends who are running the half or full marathon this year.
