On November 14, the Houston Food Bank needs volunteers to help take down cans from Canstruction. Canstruction Houston is a design/build competition benefitting the Houston Food Bank. Local area architects, engineers and construction professionals use canned food and show off their design/build talents by constructing amazing canstructures. Volunteers should meet at the church at 7 a.m. to carpool to the event. Please contact Tim Lenz for more information.
The Luther League will travel to 300 Houston, a bowling alley located at 925 Bunker Hill Rd for bowling and pizza. The fee of $20 includes pizza buffet, shoe rental, and all you can bowl for two hours. Please arrive at the bowling alley at 3:30 p.m. so we can start bowling at 4 p.m. The deadline to let me know is November 18. The event is limited to 20 people so email or call me ASAP to reserve your spot.
All 6th through 12th grade students are invited to Lutherhill December 11-12 for fellowship, worship, study, and fun at this year’s Advent Retreat. The fee of $65 will cover transportation, lodging, food, activity fees, and the cost of two chaperones. The deadline to register is December 4.
