Every year Texas Impact sponsors Advocacy Camp, a citizen leadership development workshop for people of faith in Texas. The purpose of the workshop is for people of faith to learn why it’s important to be active in the political process and how to be effective at it. The workshop helps people and congregations who want to work on justice issues get past their own inertia toward action in society. Guest speakers discuss issues such as health, immigration and environment, providing up-to-date information on the topic at hand and explain why these issues are important to the faith community.

There is a $25.00 registration fee for the workshop, which includes lunch and materials.
