The United States Marines of 1st Reconnaissance Battalion Needs Your Help!
Former Marine Sgt Cory Reckeweg is working to donate 400 boxes of Ready Brew coffee to the deploying Marines of 1st Reconnaissance Battalion. Sgt Reckeweg is the son of new church member Linda McGraw, and a current manager of Starbucks. Starbucks is promoting a new Ready Brew instant coffee that is single-serving and perfect for people who do not have fresh brewed coffee readily available. Each box contains 12 packs of coffee at $9.95 a box and Sgt Reckeweg is looking to collect donations for 400 boxes, enough for the entire battalion! This is a product that is extremely USEFUL to our troops! It will be easy for them to carry multiple packs of it around at a time, so even when they're out in the field sleeping in the dirt, they can at least have some great coffee with them... which can be a God-Send to a Marine! Sgt Reckeweg served in the Marines for 8 years and had the honor of being attached to 1st Recon Bn for 4 years. He is asking for your help in making this project a success in giving back to the Marines who gave so much to him.
