The Reverends Fuerst and Holden
We thank you for celebrating
God’s gift to us - our boy, Holden.
Your generosity, authenticity, and pervasive joy are not just blessings to us, but are also true gifts for welcoming others into this community. We look forward to Holden’s baptism at the Easter Vigil next Spring, and we’ll be counting on you to do your part in raising a good Luthedist.
Grace to you!
Mel and Sharon Ostwald
It is in these times that test our faith that the support and comfort of God’s people is so very important. We want to thank the staff and congregation of Christ the King for the many ways that you have ministered to us during the short illness and death of our daughter, Tanya Kay, on July 21st, and the weeks of grief that have followed. We have been supported and comforted and renewed in our faith as you have contributed according to your own spiritual gifts - ministry, music, prayers, flowers, cards, hugs, calls, visits, food, offers of help, words of encouragement - all in their own way say that you care about us and you are here to share our grief and enfold us in your love and prayers. We are indeed blessed to be a part of such a caring congregation. Our sincere thanks to each one of you. May God bless you all.
Carl, Liz, and Aaron Schaer
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, cards, and visits from the congregation during Carl’s recent hospitalizations. We would especially like to thank the Prayer Shawl Ministry and the Meals Committee. We have truly experienced the presence and grace of God through our congregation.
