We are fortunate that the 2009 ELCA Global Formation Event will be held October 2 & 3 at Living Word in Katy. This event, featuring plenary speakers Rev. Rafael Malpica Padilla, Executive Director of ELCA Global Mission, and Rev. Stephen Bouman, Executive Director of ELCA Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Mission, is designed to strengthen each congregation’s mission both locally and globally. Christ the King Church organist Mark Mummert will facilitate the global worship opportunities at the event.
