Help. A Variety. Of People.
I volunteer at the Houston Food Bank with the group from Christ the King because I like to help out. It's not a big commitment, but you know that the work you put in at the food bank makes a difference for the seniors, children, and families who rely on the foodbank and its partners to meet their food needs. Helping out is a way of showing love to those who hunger for that as well.
I volunteer at the Houston Food Bank with the group from Christ the King because everytime you go, it's a new experience. From sorting household products, to throwing out expired food items, to packing meal boxes for meals on wheels, each trip to the Food Bank is an adventure. Variety is the spice of life, and the Food Bank is a lively place.
I volunteer at the Houston Food Bank with the group from Christ the King because of the people. When you're working together, you get to know people in a new way. It's an opportunity to get to know others as you serve others. Come join us!
Next trip to the Houston Food Bank is on May 9.
