Is our church a “Family” church? There are four levels of church. The “Frosty” church is unwelcoming to visitors and leaves them cold. The “Friendly” church welcomes the visitors but doesn’t try to know their names. The “Friends” church learns visitors’ and other members’ names, talks to them, but their conversations are not about spiritual and meaningful things. The “Family” church is friends who share with each other about spiritual matters. They go to each other and share their concerns, their needs, their celebrations, and their prayer requests. Let’s aspire to be a “Family” church in 2009.
