Father/Son Retreat at LutherHill

LutherHill Ministries is hosting a Father/Son retreat September 12-14 at LutherHill in LaGrange Texas. With ropes courses, basketball, midnight ultimate Frisbee, and acres of rolling hills and trees there should be lots of opportunities for “male bonding.” Fishing, wrestling, and eating s’mores are likely also on the agenda. Henry and Zach Goodrow are signed up. If we sign up several families from CTK, our families can be combined to share cabins and activities. What a great way for us to strengthen our families and our faith community!

The new staff at LutherHill provides great leadership in worship, study, and play. The food is abundant and delicious. The singing…..well, that will depend on the participants won’t it? There is not a specific age limit set for participants; however, elementary kids and up (and dads and grandpas of all ages) should have a good time and some younger children may also be ok. All you need to bring is a sleeping bag and a flashlight – even clean clothes might be optional on the Father/Son Weekend. You can be home to watch football (and catch up on lost sleep) by early Sunday afternoon. Contact Henry Goodrow if you need more information. You may register directly.
