Tag Sale was a Roaring Success

The church’s tag sale was a roaring success...We want to express our thanks for the time and physical effort that our members put into the sale these past few weeks, in volunteering to work during the sale, bringing in items to sell and of course coming to buy the great bargains offered. We raised $4231.80 through the sale to which was added a matching gift from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans of $400.00. We will be able to donate $463.00 (10%) to the House of Tiny Treasures, the accredited SEARCH day care center for homeless children. The proceeds are going towards children’s ministry here at Christ the King Church, in the areas of nursery, Sunday church school und music. We truly appreciate your help and interest this year and hope that next year you will be willing to come back! Keep us in mind as you do next year’s spring cleaning! A special thank you to the following members who helped sort and price the items for sale and who worked on Saturday to sell items:

We also wanted to express thanks to Santiago and Edwin Callejas for the physical work they did in moving tables, furniture and boxes all over….and to Dianne Giroir, Cheryl Gaspard and Mike Shelton in the church offices for their help with the prep work for the sale.
