There will be a rite of milestone observance of graduation in both services on May 11, followed by a cake reception.

Plans we’ve received so far include:
Andrew Kragas will be receiving his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering May 16 at a ceremony at the Frank Erwin Center on the University of Texas campus in Austin. Celebrating the event with him will be Tor, Elizabeth, Galen, and Ian Kragas, and Elizabeth’s parents Virginia and Lionel Lester. Also attending will be his aunt and uncle, Berit Kragas and Dave Thiessen and cousins Sara and Luke Thiessen of Austin.
Andrew will continue his studies this summer which will be completed in August. At that time he will take an extended vacation to Europe in celebration of 4 years of hard work and a job well done! After his trip he will move to Dallas, Texas where he will begin working for Texas Instruments.
Jim Walker will graduate from Texas State Technical College (TSTC) on April 26, 2008 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Welding Technology. He has accepted a position as a Welding Technician at Arc Specialties, here in Houston, and will start work on April 28.
Kristin West is a senior at Lamar High School. Next fall she is planning to attend California Lutheran University and major in Bioengineering. Kristin’s ties to this church has helped her grow in faith and given her the chance to do what she loves, to serve others.
Joseph Winston will graduate from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a joint major in English and Philosophy and with a minor in History.
