Christ the King Lutheran Church will join with congregations throughout our country on June 1 in offering prayers of thanksgiving and support for cancer patients and survivors everywhere, especially within our own congregational family. This year, CanCare’s Survivors Day Luncheon will be at the Intercontinental Hotel on Thursday, May 29, 2008. NFL Hall-of-Famer, Marv Levy, a prostate cancer survivor and former Head Coach of the 4-time Super Bowl Champions, the Buffalo Bills, will be the keynote speaker. What a story he has to share!
