Bach Vespers on May 4
The Bach Society closes its anniversary season on May 4 at 5:00 p.m. with Bach Vespers featuring the Bach Choir and Orchestra under the direction of Albert LeDoux. The program includes Bach Cantata 172, Erschallet ihr Lieder, and works by Schutz and Zachow celebrating the feast of the Ascension, which is the previous Thursday.
Soloists are Lynelle Rowley, Gerrod Pagenkopf, Randolph Lacy, and Paul Busselberg. There is no admission charge; a free-will offering will be accepted.
