Professor George W.E. Nickelsburg
An Interfaith Dialogue with lunch (kosher ) will be held on Thursdays thru March 13 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church.
This lunch provides an opportunity for Jews and Christians to gather in order to understand more adequately the Jewish and Christian faiths in their differences.
George W. E. Nickelsburg is Emeritus Professor of Religion at the University of Iowa, where he taught for more than three decades. His many works include 1 Enoch1 (Hermeneia; 2001) and Jewish Literature between the Bible and the Mishnah (1981), both from Fortress Press. Professor Nickelsburg is a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
