Finalist in a Green Home Contest
It is time to offer our congratulations to Walter Murphy, whose firm Murphy Mears Architects, was chosen as one of five finalists in a green home contest in Houston. The homes could cost no more than $99,000 and are designed to be energy efficient as well as affordable. The winner, to be chosen in April, will build the home on city-owned land in the Fifth Ward.
