Time and Talent!Time and Talent!God does not call the qualified; God qualifies the called. Are you feeling the nudge to do more in our congregation and community, to contribute to the betterment of humankind, but are feeling less confident as to your capabilities? Or you don’t know exactly where you fit in? Well, join the club! Many of us hesitate to get involved because we are not sure we are equipped to help another person or to serve in a particular function. However, there is great news; we are not to do things with our own strength, but with the help of God. We are to push forward and contribute with our time and talent and with the faith God has given us to do what He has called us to do.
It is never too late to turn in your Time and Talent sheet which was mailed in November. There are many ways you can minister within our congregation, in our community, and in the world. Look through your 2008 Time and Talent catalog for a myriad of ways you can serve.
