Christopher Hedges to Speak at  the Rothko Chapel, January 8

“I Don’t Believe in Atheists” will be the topic of a talk by renowned journalist Christopher Hedges on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rothko Chapel, 1409 Sul Ross at Yupon. The Rothko Chapel is dedicated to encouraging peace and justice.The program is free and open to the public.

Chris Hedges will discuss the new wave of atheism Considered one of America’s preeminent journalists, his work won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting. He also received the 2002 Amnesty International Global Award for Human Rights Journalism. A senior fellow at the Nation Institute, he holds a B.A. in English Literature from Colgate University and a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School.
