The Melanchthon Institute, in partnership with the Texas Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod Stewardship Team, is pleased to bring Nathan Dungan to the area to do a weekend retreat for Parents and their Teens on the concepts of Share – Save – Spend TM. Dungan is well recognized in the field of finance for speaking clearly and convincingly to people of all ages on the wisdom of finding and maintaining financial sanity in a culture that promotes over-spending, consumerism to addictive levels, and living with escalating levels of debt and financial insecurity.

He is author of Prodigal Sons and Material Girls: How Not to Be Your Child’s ATM. The cost of the event is $25/person with an $80/family limit. This includes all of Dungan’s presentations, two meals, and a snack Friday evening and other retreat activities. Housing arrangements are separate and can made directly with Lutherhill Ministries or in LaGrange where special rates are available for this event at The Best Western (979.968.6800) or a local Bed & Breakfast: Brendan Manor (979.968.2028).
