Dr. Marilyn Edwards has
been promoted to full Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the
University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Marilyn was recruited to the University
of Texas Health Science Center in 1982 as an assistant professor in the Department
of Nutrition and Dietetics after completing her doctorate in human nutrition at
Colorado State University. In 1995. she transferred as an associate professor
to the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology,
and Nutrition at the University of Texas Medical School. She teaches in the area
of clinical nutrition and preventive medicine. Marilyn has been a member of Christ
the King Church since 1984.
