Our organist, Jonathan Wohlers will play his final doctoral recital at Christ the King Church on Thursday, November 17, at 8:00 p.m. The recital is in fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music.
The program will explore Italian and French influences in South German baroque organ music, featuring compositions by Froberger, Frescobaldi, Pasquini, L. Couperin, Lebègue, and Muffat. The congregation is invited to attend; there is no admission charge.
