ELCA Lutheran Campus Ministry Needs Our Support

The Lutheran Campus Ministry of Houston is hosting it’s first annual golf tournament March 26, 2006, at Hermann Park Golf Course. Proceeds from the event will be used to help fund and support a called clergy person who will devote his or her full energy to campus ministry in Houston.

Christ the King Lutheran Church has a long history of supporting young adult ministry for Rice University and has generously agreed to provide one half of the funding needed for the first five years of this program. The goal is to raise $100,000 for each year, with the golf tournament providing a portion of that need.
You can help by becoming a sponsor of the golf tournament. Sponsorships can come in several forms:

1. Title Sponsor - Your company name will be used in an exclusive fashion. Your exposure will be seen amoung participants of more than thirty Lutheran congregations in our area.
2. Hole Sponsors - Eighteen individual hole sponsor boards will be displayed on each of the 18 holes.
3. Food and Beverage Sponsors - Provide food and beverage for the participants.
4. Awards and Special Events Sponsors - Will help in providing these for participants.
5. Player Sponsor - Sponsor a player in the event.
