Call them your memoirs, your journals or your recollections, there’s usually one common problem with all of them. And that is in getting started on them.
Come tackle that problem in a four-week workshop entitled “Writing life Stories” that will be offered by Anna Fay Williams, member and writer. An organizational session will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, at the church to establish a meeting time during the following weeks. If you can’t make the meeting and are interested, please contact Anna Fay Williams.
This workshop will be conducted as an informal circle for sharing that will follow the interests of the participants. Anna Fay Williams said it is intended for those who would like to bring together their recollections and memories to share with their families or others in the community.
“As the Christmas season approaches we often think of our family stories, said Anna Fay Williams, but may not have the time to write them down when the holidays are upon us. With this workshop we will explore several ways to present those stories through personal essays, letters, memoirs and journals.”
