Houston Food Bank

Strack, Joe Schlichting, Marjorie Russell, Jerry and Pat Johnson, Debbie Wagner, and Geraldine Middleton who are three friends of Federico Salas from Michigan who came to spend the weekend as volunteers.

The Houston Food Bank is a primary provider for feeding many of the victims of Katrina while continuing to provide the food needed for 250,000 persons in our area each month. Helping at the Houston Food Bank gives new meaning to this sentence: “Give us this day our daily bread.”

Christ the King Church sends volunteers 6 times a year to the Houston Food Bank. We go on the second Saturday of each even-numbered month. Please join us on our next opportunity to go to the Houston Food Bank on November 12. For more information, contact Anna Stock.
