LSS is one of only a few organizations chosen to display the “Best in America” seal of approval. Of the 50,000-plus charities that participate in Combined Federal Campaigns, only about 1,500 members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America have been selected to display the seal, based on approved standards and practices.
