There will be a Blessing of the Animals service in the courtyard of Christ the King Lutheran Church on Saturday, October1 at 11:00 a.m.
The service, which CTK first offered in 1995, lasts about 45 minutes. In the past it has drawn around 50 pet owners both from the congregation and from the community at large. A diversity of pets have been presented, including ferrets, sand crabs, and gold fish, as well as the more typical cats and dogs.
