Houston Campus Ministry Banquet a Success
Thanks to all who attended and participated in the Houston Lutheran Campus Ministry Banquet on April 30. We are well on our way to reaching our financial goal for calling and supporting a full-time campus minister for Houston. If you would like to help with a pledge, please e-mail Tim Redl or Pr. Feed the Homeless

Campus and Young Adult Ministry is excited about its Homeless Ministry program at Christ the King Church, and we’d love for you to join us. On the 2nd and 4th Monday evenings of each month we meet at Christ the King Church to make sandwiches and prepare meals, and deliver them to downtown homeless individuals. We meet in the kitchen and parish hall at 5:45 p.m. to set up and prepare the meals, and leave for downtown at about 7:00 or 7:30 p.m. to deliver them. All are invited to help out with meal preparation, downtown delivery, or both! Our two gatherings in June will be on June 13 and June 27. Our two gatherings in July will be on July 11 and July 25. Young Adult Perspectives
YAP is back... with a new twist! Young Adult Perspectives (“YAP” for short) is a student and young adult Bible study/discussion group that usually meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday evenings of each month at 7:15 p.m. (after Taizé) in the basement of Christ the King Church. All students and young adults are invited to YAP sessions. No preparation is necessary... just bring your Bibles and an open and inquiring mind. We read passages aloud from the Bible and discuss. Our two YAP sessions in June will be on June 4 and June 18. Our two YAP sessions in July will be on July 2 and July 16. If you would like more information, e-mail Gentiana Wenzel .
