Day of Wonder at The Melanchthon Institute and the Museum of Natural Science

Join us Saturday, April 16, for a Day of Wonder. The schedule is as follows:

9 a.m. Presentation by the Rev. Bruce Booher on the Wonder and Mystery of both Science and Faith, at Christ the King Lutheran Church

Catered lunch from Hungry’s Restaurant

12:30 To Houston Museum of Natural Science

1:00 p.m. IMAX: Forces of Nature

2:30 p.m. Planetarium: Saturn- the Rings

4:00 p.m. Closing session for the day

During afternoon free time participants may also tour the Butterfly Display and other general displays.

Cost for full day is $50, including lecture, lunch, and museum displays. There is a senior citizen and student discount of $10/person and special group rate available upon request (for groups of 10 or more).

Childcare available in the morning for $15/child with advance reservations.

Optional Additional Friday Evening Programming

7 p.m. Friday Evening Science and Religion monthly discussion group at Christ the King Lutheran Church (no charge) - every third Friday of the month.
