Nursery Nuggets
Christ the King Lutheran Church is very fortunate to have a wonderful, well
staffed, well run, and well stocked nursery for our little ones. To keep things
running smoothly may we suggest that parents using these facilities do these
things to help keep it running smoothly:
- Do label everything you bring and do bring diapers and a change of clothes
if appropriate.
- Do understand that our nursery guidelines prevent the paid or volunteer
staff for dispensing medications. If your child is sick enough to need
medications, perhaps they ought not be in the nursery that day.
- Whenever possible please feed infants before you drop them in the nursery.
You would be welcome to feed them in the nursery before you go to worship.
- Consider volunteering to help out in the nursery. We could really use more
volunteers to help keep our caregiver to infant and children ratio where it
needs to be for optimum care. Contact
Michelle Beck for details.
- The nursery opens at 8:15 Sunday mornings and 15 minutes before other worship
events. If you need to drop a child off earlier than that, please make arrangements
to do so through the church office at 713-523-2864 ext. 21.
- If you haven’t used the nursery yet, but think you soon will, the
nursery staff would be glad to greet you and give you a tour. Just stop by
and ask.
