Dear Members of Christ the King Lutheran,
On behalf of Lutherhill Ministries and myself, please accept our thanks for your recent gift of $7,180, raised at your annual auction. We are excited to be a part of this Telling Synod, and are thankful for your continued partnership. Your gifts help us to ensure that Lutherhill continues to be a place for all people of every generation to experience the love of Christ in unique settings and new ways.
You may know that recently with the help of Mission builders we have begun the renovation of many of our facilities. One of our most significant renovations has been to our dining hall. Last year we were unable to fit all of the guests at Lutherhill in the dining hall during six of the nine weeks of summer programming. Your gift allowed us to renovate the serving and dish areas, which allows for room to seat thirty more people. As well we added a temperature controlled dry storage area to the back of the building, which was desperately needed. Along with those physical renovations the addition of a professional Chef to our staff has helped us to see great needs for equipment repair and replacement, which we were able to complete with your help.
We feel very blessed in this time of growth for Lutherhill, as we watch the construction of the new Carby Chapel Center, work hard on camp renovations, and enjoy the retreat season. We are thankful for the many blessings we have received, and we know that none of this would be possible without the partnership of friends like you. Together we will continue to touch the lives of children.
