Edward Biegert Receives Eagle Award
Edward Kristopher Biegert was recently
awarded one of the Boy Scout’s highest honors, the Eagle Award. Only 4%
of boys who join the Boy Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle. All Eagle scouts are
required to plan and execute a major service project, requiring the management
and direction of leaders and scouts in the troop. Edward’s project was to
construct a metal shed for the Ronald McDonald House. To fund the shed as well
as the tools and food for the volunteers, Edward collected donated items and held
a rummage sale. The left over funds were donated to the House to be used in its
gardening program.
