German Saturday School is returning
to Christ the King Lutheran Church
The Deutsche Samstagsschule Houston, Inc.,
was founded in the summer of 1986. The goal was to provide quality instruction
in the German language and culture for children from the age of four. Christ the
King Lutheran Church was kind enough to provide classrooms for the 1986-1987 school
year. It is with great pleasure that the Samstagsschule is able to return
to Christ the King Lutheran Church, beginning with the school year 2004-2005.
Classes will be offered for children ages 4 through high school, including a class
for AP preparation and a class for Deutsches Sprachdiplom preparation. Adult classes
for beginner, intermediate, and advanced will also be available. The school year
consists of thirty Saturdays, beginning August 21, from 9 to 11:45 a.m. For more
information, visit www.deutschesamstagsschule.org.
Members of Christ the King Church community are welcome to register. Registration
forms are available on the website, or one may call 713-666-8125 and leave a message
for Dr. Ute Eisele, founder and president of the school.
