Hospitality Dinner
Christ the King has been asked to sponsor
a summer hospitality dinner for the Hospitality Apartments, which has been planned
for Thursday, July 8. For 23 years, our congregation has supported the apartments
which provide free housing to patients receiving treatment in the Texas Medical
Center. The dinner is sponsored by the Service and Care Commission and will take
place at the Hospitality Apartments, near the Medical Center, beginning at 6:30.
Volunteers are needed to bring food, serve, and (alternatively) donate funds to
help pay for the meal. This will be a much appreciated and enjoyable evening and
we invite all members to join us. Naomi Nelson will coordinate the dinner; volunteers
