Houston Food Bank
Attention volunteers! Every other month
Christ the King Church members make a trip to the Houston Food Bank to assess
groceries, repackage donations, or fill orders. The Food Bank provides excellent
services to our community and is a great success due entirely to its volunteers.
In April, Theresa Sturdivant, Anna Stock and Tim Traynor represented our congregation
well, repackaging bread for distribution. Out next trip will be on Saturday, June
12, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. We meet in the Christ the King Lutheran Church parking
lot at 7:40 a.m. and carpool to the Food Bank. If you would like to participate,
