Mother’s Day Tea
For the past four years, more than 2,300
generous people have helped make the “Children of Promise” Mother’s
Day Tea a great success by raising more than $100,000 for abused and neglected
children. Most of us have been blessed with loving mothers, but the majority of
the 2,500 children served each year by Lutheran Social Services have never known
that love because of past abuse, neglect or abandonment. We invite you to join
us this Mother’s Day by hosting a ‘make-believe’ or real tea
party in honor of your mother. Helping children who can’t be with their
mothers is a wonderful way to honor your own mother. For more information, call
