Lutherhill Needs Your Help To Celebrate
Its 50th
We need your old photos (on loan) and stories for the 50th Anniversary combination
History and Cook Book we’re producing. Please contact the camp by mail,
email, or phone if you have items we could incorporate into the special 50th
Anniversary book.
We also need your help at Lutherhill on July 3, 2004. Activities are being
planned for Lutherhill’s 50th anniversary celebration. “A Day at
Camp” is the theme. Camp opens at 11:00 a.m. with worship and ends at
9:00 p.m. with fireworks. We need lots of volunteers throughout the day for
the following:
- Arts and Crafts facilitation - helping kids and adults with crafts
- Field games coordinator - selecting and playing games for a wide range of
ages
- Tour guides - give walking and/or driving tours of 77 acres (script provided!)
- Van drivers with van - for driving tours
- Canteen workers - sell cool drinks and snacks
- Camp store workers - sell anniversary camp souvenirs
- Meal time workers - help get food ready and clean up afterwards
- Parking attendants - to guide the many vehicles coming up for the day
- Publicity - making announcements in your congregation of Lutherhill’s
anniversary celebration
