Every year, hundreds of children are removed from abustive homes and must be placed with foster families. There are also many medically challenged children whose parents have relinquished their parental rights because they cannot or will not properly care for them. Those children require specially trained foster parents.
In an effort to meet the growing need for foster parents in the Houston area, Lutheran Social Services of the South is hosting an informational meeting for prospective foster parents.
