Did you know that CanCare, an interfaith volunteer cancer service, is providing Christ the King Lutheran Church tools that will enable us to provide a specialized cancer ministry to our congregants?
CanCare volunteers believe that no one should suffer alone with cancer. CanCare trains cancer survivors and family members to provide one-on-one, long-term emotional support to cancer patients and their families. CanCare volunteers are matched with individuals according to the type of cancer, treatment method, age, gender and family situation.
