This year is the 486th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. It was on October 31, 1517, that Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church.
Timothy Wengert, the Melanchthon Institute's Eric W. Gritsch Theologian-in-Residence this fall will address the adult forum on Sunday, October 26, with the first of three presentations on the Reformation: Law & Gospel. The Reverend Dr. Wengert is Professor of Reformation History at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
