Hymns of the Church will be presented at Bach Vespers on October 19 at 5:00 p.m. in the nave. Albert LeDoux will be the guest director of the Bach Choir and Orchestra. The Vespers will be followed by the Bach Society's annual Oktoberfest reception.
The program includes Bach's Cantata 96: "Herr Christ, der ein'ge Gottesohn" (Lord Christ, the only Son of God). There is no admission charge; a freewill offering will be received. All seats are usually filled for Bach Vespers; arrive early.
