Young Adult Bible Study
A new informal Bible study discussion class
for young adults will begin on Sunday, September 7, at 12:30 p.m. in the council
room. We will follow the video curriculum used by the ELCA for the instruction
of Associates in Ministry (AIMs). No preparation for the class is necessary. Just
bring your own lunch and join in the discussion after the late service. However,
for those who are interested in more in-depth study, participation in this course
can be applied to becoming a rostered AIM. The first session will be based on
the Old Testament and will involve short (10-30 minute) videos followed by discussion.
A $3 study guide as well as an optional text, Reading the Old Testament,
by Lawrence Boadt ($17) will be available. Anyone interested should contact
Tim Traynor.
