September Will Be a Big Month on Television
for Lutherans
- Sowing Seeds, a television program produced by Faith and Values Media
for the Hallmark Channel, will repeat a segment on Davey and Goliath on Sunday,
September 14. On Sunday, September 20, Sowing Seeds will feature First Lutheran
Church, San Diego, California and its TACO (Third Avenue Charitable Organization)
ministry, a free Monday evening meal and health clinic, a ministry which recently
added a culinary arts program, training participants for jobs in the food

Sowing Seeds is broadcast at 6:30 a.m. eastern and pacific time. Faith and
Values Media is a consortium of more than 65 faith groups including the ELCA

- Faith and Values Media's daily program for the Hallmark Channel, New
Morning, will include a profile of ELCA member, Gloria Luster, the "Garden
Angel" of Baltimore, on Friday, September 12. New Morning airs at 7:00
a.m. eastern and pacific times Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. on Sunday).
- You may already be aware of "Oh Davey"...the History of Davey
and Goliath, an ELCA produced documentary to be broadcast across the USA
on local ABC television stations beginning Sunday, September 14. More information
