Ships Ahoy Mates! The Midsummer Feast shall be spread in a nautical fashion by the Church Gourmet Gang at the parsonage on Saturday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. Our custom is to potluck the July party.
Please serve up some fishes in your dishes and dress in a sea-faring style. We ask that each guest bring two different menu items and a beverage to share. We often swap recipes at this party and incorporate them in later dinners - so be creative and bring documentation. All guests and new members are welcome to join in the fun.
Wendy Wentland will captain this supper ship and needs volunteers to trim the sails, swab the decks, set the tables, climb the masts and tend to other logistical matters. If you have not hosted a party this year, please do volunteer to assist her. RSVPs are not required this time, but if you can commit, Wendy would be delighted to receive a call so she can plan for enough chairs and plates.
