The 2003 Back to School Program will provide academic supplies, uniforms and gently used clothing to 4000 underprivileged students. Christian Community Service Center needs approximately 700 volunteers to help sort, set-up and distribute supplies.
Sort and set up is on July 26, 8 am to noon at Faith Lutheran Church, 4600 Bellaire Blvd. Distribution of supplies will be on August 1 and 2, 7:45 am to noon. This is an excellent service project for people 5 years and up. Please contact Jenna Nassif if you are interested in volunteering.
WE ALSO NEED SPONSORS! A $40 contribution will allow one child to begin the school year with a uniform, shoes, and school supplies. Please write your checks to "CCSC Back to School" and place them in the offering. Thank you for your support of this very worthy cause!
