Our growth in Youth and Family ministry will take a large step this summer as we welcome our first summer Youth Ministry Intern, Mike Patterson. The money for initiating this new ministry position comes from the proceeds of the 2002 CTK Festival Auction.
Mike moved into the parsonage garage apartment on May 23 and began work on May 24 by helping with the Luther League car wash. He has already started working on a webpage for the Luther League and making connections with each of the youth. All are invited to a picnic cookout to welcome him on June 1 at 6:00 p.m. in the backyard of the parsonage. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Hamburgers and sodas will be provided.
